ReNu Prosthetics Shipping & Order Processing Policy

ReNu Prosthetics provides cranial prostheses in accordance with medical necessity, provider documentation requirements, and applicable payer guidelines. The following policy outlines estimated order processing and shipping timeframes.

Order Processing Timeframes

  • Standard cranial prosthesis orders are processed within up to ten (10) business days following:

    • Receipt of complete order information

    • Payment confirmation or insurance authorization approval, when applicable

  • Business days are defined as Monday through Friday, excluding weekends and recognized holidays.

Customized & Specialty Cranial Prostheses

  • Cranial prostheses requiring customization—including but not limited to medical-grade materials, sizing modifications, color matching, cap construction, or specialty fabrication—require additional processing time.

  • Customized units may require an additional 5–15 business days, depending on clinical requirements, vendor timelines, and material availability.

  • Processing timelines for customized units begin once all clinical documentation and specifications are finalized.

Insurance-Billed Orders

  • For orders submitted to insurance, processing timelines begin after all required payer documentation has been received and authorization approval is obtained, when applicable.

  • ReNu Prosthetics does not control payer review timelines and cannot guarantee processing or delivery dates for insurance-billed orders.

Shipping Timeframes

  • Shipping timelines are estimated and not guaranteed.

  • Once shipped, orders are delivered via third-party carriers.

  • ReNu Prosthetics is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather conditions, service interruptions, or other factors outside of our control.

Documentation & Compliance

  • Orders are not released for shipping until all required documentation is complete, which may include:

    • Prescription or order, if required by payer

    • Clinical justification or diagnosis documentation

    • Measurements or customization details

    • Insurance verification or authorization

  • Incomplete or inaccurate documentation may result in processing delays.

  • Processing and shipping timelines are provided for informational purposes only and do not constitute a guarantee of delivery.

  • ReNu Prosthetics makes every reasonable effort to process and ship orders within the stated timeframes while maintaining compliance with payer and regulatory requirements.
